Corfab LLC began life as Coronado Fabricators in 1983. We were licensed at that time as both a commercial and residential contracting company. We decided after a couple years to limit ourselves to Commericial projects only and specialized in construction of pre-engineered metal buildings.

In 1994 we entered into an affiliation with Agate, Inc., the largest manufacturer of steel buildings in the state of Arizona. We enjoyed many years affiliation with them, both as subcontractors and as construction manager, on many of their power plant and mining projects. In 2006 Tommy Freestone saw an opportunity and decided to take the company into specialized welding services for the mining industry. Coronado Fabricators then restructured as a Limited liability Corporation and shortened its name to Corfab. This proved to be a very successful enterprise and the welding services have become the core of the business.

Corfab is located in Safford, Arizona and can provide services for mines throughout the state. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. We maintain a stringent safety program and have enjoyed an accident free record since our inception. Our employees are required to be drug tested before hiring and are subject to random drug testing at any given time. All employees are MSHA trained. It is these standards that have enabled us to maintain our perfect safety record.
